About Blair

Blair Frazier is a contemporary artist born and raised in North Carolina and based in the Charlotte region. Being raised in a creative household by a father who was an art teacher and a mother who was a music teacher, she developed an early connection to the arts that continues to shape her creative practice.

A graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in interior design, Blair brings a strong sense of composition, color, and movement to her paintings. Her work usually centers on botanical subjects, and elements found in nature.

Working primarily with acrylic paint, Blair builds her paintings through translucent glazes and expressive mark-making. Pattern, line, and cross-hatching often appear within her compositions, creating depth, movement, and visual harmony.

Color relationships, organic shapes, pattern, and the balance between structure and spontaneity remain central to her work.

When she is not working in her home studio, she can be found relaxing poolside with her husband, two children and two goldendoodles, cheering on her son’s baseball team, or indulging in a little reality TV with a glass of wine.
