About Blair

Blair Frazier is a contemporary artist born and raised in North Carolina, based in the Charlotte region.  Her upbringing in a creative household, by a father who was an art teacher and a mother who was a music teacher, has kept her tied closely to her creative roots over the years.

A graduate of Appalachian State University, with a degree in interior design, Blair brings a strong sense of composition, light, movement, and emotion into her paintings.  After years of creating for clients through design and print, she now devotes her practice to making original works that explore the idea of home—through perspective, personal objects, and the quiet comforts that shape daily life.

Her paintings often focus on the details that make a space feel lived in — objects collected over time, and the subtle traces of the people who inhabit it. Her work considers how people create meaning and comfort within their own spaces.

When she is not working in her studio, she can be found relaxing poolside with her husband, two children and two goldendoodles, cheering on her sons baseball team, or indulging in a little reality TV with a glass of wine.
